My daughter gnaws on the maple bird constantly and I love that the linen strap snaps off so I can toss just the wood part in my bag. It's held up way better than the plastic teethers we had before.
The linen strap snaps off easily for washing, which I've already done twice since my daughter drools constantly. The maplewood bird is smooth with no rough edges, and she chews on the wings while gripping the fabric for dear life.
My little one grabbed for it immediately and the detachable linen strap is perfect for clipping to her outfit without losing the bird. The maplewood feels substantial and sturdy, and she's been gnawing on it happily for weeks without any splintering or wear.
