The linen strap is the real winner here—my little one grips it for comfort while gnawing on the bird, and I love that it snaps off for a quick wash. The wood feels solid and well-carved, not a single rough edge after weeks of teething.
The maplewood is surprisingly smooth and substantial, not flimsy like other teethers we've tried. My baby gnaws on the bird's wing constantly, and the linen strap is the perfect length for her to grip and wave around.
The snap-off linen part is genius—I can wash it separately while the wooden bird gets a quick wipe down. My baby loves gnawing on the smooth maple, and the whole thing feels sturdy enough to survive being thrown across the room.
